On the 7th of May Asset | FIRST International, together with Asset | Economics, organised the Brussels excursion. During this day students visited the European Parliament and the European Commission were they got presentations about subjects that had been discussed during the lectures. The students were selected via a special procedure.

The programme looked the following:

• 9h00    Departure from Tilburg University to Brussels
• 12h30  Presentation and tour at the European Parliament
• 13h30  Presentations at the European Commision
  - Presentation about How does the EU respond to the Financial Crisis?
  - Presentation about Competition Policy
• 17h30  Dinner
• 19h15  Departure from Brussels to Tilburg University
