Students enrolled at Tilburg University can become a member of Asset | FIRST International
Membership of Asset | FIRST International includes membership of the Faculty Association Asset
He or she who wants to become a member of Asset | FIRST International has to inform the board through a written request, by means of the subscription or authorisation form issued by the board.
A member signs an authorisation form for subsequent years until cancellation. The membership is valid until the end of the academic year in which the member ends his or her membership.
The membership starts in the academic year in which the membership fee is paid.
The total membership fee is 15 Euros. Asset | FIRST International receives 7,5 Euros and the Faculty Association Asset receives 7,5 Euros.
Only students who cancel their membership before the 1st of October of the current academic year are allowed to get their membership fee back.
He or she who wishes to cancel their membership has to inform the board through a written request by means of an email or letter.
The board commits itself to send a confirmation within 15 days after receiving the cancellation.
A member of Asset | FIRST International has the right to:
To be kept up to date with the upcoming activities
Participate in the (appropriate) activities organised
Receive a discount when purchasing guidelines
Receive the formal magazine the FIRST Quarterly
Switch to another association within the Faculty Association Asset
End his or her membership free of charge before the 1st of October.
Graduate Membership
Members of Asset | FIRST International who are graduated or no longer enrolled at Tilburg University will become graduate members.
Graduate members pay an annual donor fee of 7,5 Euros, which is the minimal amount determined by the General Members' Meeting.
Graduate members, at least, receive news about the association and its activities, as well as the FIRST Quarterly.
Graduate members have no voting right, they do have the right of speech at the GMM and graduate members can be asked by the board to take seat in the advisory council.
