From the 16th of January until the 22nd of January the Language Study Tour to Madrid took place. This trip is meant for all students that follow Spanish 1 and are planning to do Spanish 2 as well. It was a good opportunity to improve your Spanish and a good way to put Spanish into practice.

Overall the trip was a great success. We stayed in a nice hostel in the city centre. Everyday from 9am to 1pm we had Spanish lessons at a language school. In the evenings, we went salsa dancing, to movie, or went out for dinner. Further, there was enough time to explore Madrid and to experience Madrid's nightlife.

From February 22 until and including February 28 we went to Madrid. The trip was a great success. We stayed in a hostel in the city centre and every morning from 9 am until 1 pm we had Spanish lessons. In the afternoon we have done several things, such as a city tour, visiting Museo del Prado, a university, soccer stadium Bernabeu and of course going out. It was the first time that we went to Madrid instead of Salamanca but we believe this was better. Madrid is easier to travel to and finding a language school and a hostel is way easier as well. Regarding cultural activities Madrid has even more to offer than Salamanca.
