Asset | FIRST International organises many activities, especially targeted at IBA students.The activities we organise are very diverse. We offer you activities in which you gain international experience like the intercontinental study tour. A three week trip outside Europe. During the trip we visit several companies, go on cultural excursions and of course, have a lot of fun. Besides that we also have a european study tour, which is a one week trip inside europe. Furthermore, we have a language tour to Spain, which is connected to the Spanish course. During this trip you will combine Spanish lessons with cultural activities together with a group of fellow students. In addition, we organise several shorter excursions, for instance, a trip to the European Commission and European Parliament in Brussels. For more information about our activities, please check our activities overview.

Asset | FIRST International organises an annual symposium several guest lectures. Furthermore, you can find the old editions of our formal magazine the FIRST Quarterly.

One of our goals is to introduce students of Tilburg University to companies and public institutions. To achieve this we organise numerous In-House Days in cooperation with multinational companies, to provide students with information about their possible future work environment. We also organise the Finance Expedition together with Asset | Accounting & Finance and Asset | Econometrics. Next to this, Asset | FIRST International also co-organises the EBT (Economic Businessweeks Tilburg), together with the seven other economic study associations connected to the Faculty Association Asset.

Next to the study related activities, we also have several social activities. Every first Tuesday of the month we have our monthly drink at Café Babbus. The perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow Asset | FIRST International members! Besides the drinks, we organise twice a year the legendary International Party, in cooperation with student associations ESN Tilburg and ICONN. A big party with an international flavour! There is also the Beer Cantus twice a year, organised by all the economic associations including Asset | FIRST International. A very social event which you cannot miss!
